Like most people, my days are very busy. From the moment I wake up to when I go to bed, my day is full of work, family commitments, working out, and trying to find time for family, and friends. Sometimes I wish there were more hours in the day, or that I didn’t need to sleep!
This lack of time sometimes means I have to rush to make healthy meals to eat. The trouble is, I know that if I grab an unhealthy snack instead of a healthy meal, I’ll lose energy and soon start to see a dip in my concentration and productivity. Any time saved will soon be lost!
That’s why I often start my day with juice for breakfast. Making a fresh juice only takes a minute or two and I can then drink my juice as I get ready to leave my house, or even on my way to work.
The juice gives me energy, doesn’t contain lots of sugar, and is super-healthy. I’ve tried lots of different juice recipes for breakfast, but this one is one of my favorites!
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: N/A
Number of servings: 2
- 5 medium-sized carrots – peeled
- 2 apples, halves and cored
- 1 thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger, peeled
- 1/8 teaspoon turmeric
Using your juicer according to the manufacturer’s instructions, juice all the ingredients and then consume immediately. If you want to store any leftovers for later, add the juice of half a lemon as a natural preservative.
