Blueberry yogurt maple smoothie

Blueberries are one of the best superfoods around. Packed with antioxidants, blueberries can help boost your immune system, keep you free from colds and may even fight cancer. Not only that, they’re super tasty! Maple syrup also has immune boosting properties and yogurt, as you probably know, is a good source of protein and calcium while being low in fat. All in all – this is one tasty, healthy smoothie!

1½ cup blueberries
1 cup almond milk
1 tablespoon real maple syrup
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
½ cup low fat plain Greek yogurt

Place all the ingredients in your blender and blitz on low and then high speed for 30-seconds. Enjoy immediately or, if you prefer, pour the liquid into a thermos for later. The blender I use and my recommendations for the best blenders for smoothies here.
