Mango and avocado smoothie


Mango avocado fruit smoothieThis smoothie is sweet and smooth and contains lots of healthy nutrients including heart-healthy monounsaturated fats. Avocado might sound like an unusual smoothie ingredient but I’m sure you’ll love it once you try it! Make sure you choose a ripe avocado as they are soft and flavorsome. Unripe avocados do not blend will and will just end up it bits floating in your smoothie mixture!


  • 1 cup chopped mango
  • ½ peeled, chopped avocado
  • ¼ cup skim milk
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice
  • ¼ cup crushed ice


Put all the ingredients in your blender,“Choosing the Best Blender for Smoothies”,  and blend on slow and then on fast for 30-seconds until all the ingredients are smooth. Pour into a tall class and serve immediately.
